Arne Jacobsen var þekktur sem arkitekt sem gerði heildstæðar hönnanir þegar hann hannaði byggingar. Árið 1971 teiknaði Arne Jacobsen Nation Bank í Kaupmannahöfn. Fyrir hina fallegu marmara klæddu byggingu hannaði Arne Jacobsen Bankers-klukkuna. Hönnunin var nútímaleg fyrir sinn tíma og er það enn í dag. Grái, mattur yfirborð klukku er hylling til uppáhaldsefnis Arne Jacobsen, hins gráa marmara sem klæðir National Bank. Appelsínugul smáatriði eru nútímaleg túlkun á rauða punktinum.
