Hammershøi Christmas Snowman H11.5 white w. deco - Home

Christmas and handicraft traditions in beautiful harmony. With the family of snowmen from Kähler’s Hammershøi Christmas series, it's easy to bring some authentic yuletide spirit into your home with broad smiles and cosy Christmas motifs that match the rest of the series and complete your festive mood: all while you enjoy the nostalgia of Kähler’s handmade design traditions. Take a walk in the garden, park, or forest and find your own small twigs that can be used as arms for the series’ sweet figurines. Perhaps as a new, cosy Christmas tradition on the 1st of December. This way, the snowmen become even more personal and meaningful. Please note that the included arms for both the standing and hanging family of snowmen are provided solely as inspiration for how you can personalise your Kähler snowmen in your very own DIY style. Naturally, the snowman wears a top hat, just as we would expect him to do. With a height of 11.5 cm and a diameter of 5 cm, he is shaped using soft lines, complete with the Hammershøi series’ iconic grooves that are characteristic of Hans-Christian Bauer’s dinnerware and table decorations. This model is the standing version of the Snowman, but you can also get a hanging version. The choice is yours. Create your own snowy landscape in the window, on the shelf or on the Christmas table. You could also let the entire family decorate the Christmas tree or some pretty branches in a beautiful vase. Kähler’s snowman family consists of the Snowman, Snowwife, Snowboy and Snowgirl, all decorated in different ways using motifs from the Hammershøi Christmas series, painted in watercolour by Rikke Jacobsen and transferred to the snow-white porcelain. The motifs are classic Christmas symbols such as woven Christmas hearts, pine cones and gifts in an authentic, cosy and hand-painted style, guaranteed to get you into the Christmas spirit.
