After you put the bottom part with water and the funnel with put the espresso maker on the base plate and turn it on. after a few minutes, the espresso coffee rises under quiet bubbling into the upper container. when this noise falls silent, your espresso is ready and automatically switches to the integrated warming function. as soon as you remove the jug from the base plate, the device turns off.
