Christmas birds H5 red/green 2 pcs. - Home

A beloved classic in Danish design, beautifully decorated for the festive season. Kay Bojesen’s songbirds are cherished classics, and now you can celebrate the holidays with this Christmas edition in red and green. Both ornaments feature golden beaks and gold hanging cords and will radiate originality and bring a sense of authentic joy from the top of the Christmas tree, hanging on branches in vases, or adorning a festively decorated window. The Kay Bojesen Christmas birds measure 5 cm in height and are crafted from FSC®-certified beechwood, ensuring that the wood used for production has been planted, grown, and harvested responsibly. As with all Kay Bojesen figurines, these two ornaments are meticulously crafted and painted with great precision and expertise. This charming set of Christmas birds brings two delightful ornaments in classic Christmas colours, designed in the iconic Kay Bojesen style, where the golden details on both the beaks and cords echo the gold accents of the Kay Bojesen Christmas trees introduced for Christmas 2024. Whether displayed together or individually, their ever-charming expressions make them a perfect fit for anyone who loves Christmas magic and classic Danish design interpreted in wood, based on original designs from the archives. Kay Bojesen crafted his first wooden figurine in 1922, and ten years later, he opened a shop and workshop on Bredgade in Copenhagen. Ever since, Kay Bojesen has been synonymous with original Danish design and is known for his playful universe of iconic wooden figurines, created with incredible attention to detail, infused with humour and the joy of unique quality craftsmanship. That is why we say Kay Bojesen has been original since 1922.
