Hammershøi Summer is inspired by the Danish summer’s adventurous shapes, colours, and emotions, and for the 2025 season, a beautiful and atmospheric symphony of the existing motifs in the Hammershøi Summer series has found its way into a pair of stylish storage tins. This Hammershøi Summer storage tin, beautifully decorated in metal and adorned with a symphony of various Hammershøi Summer motifs, measures 18.5 cm in height and is perfect for biscuits or other treats for yourself or your summer guests – whether you leave it on the shelf in the kitchen, bring it to the table, or simply wish to add plenty of authentic summer cosiness to your home and surroundings. The illustrations are placed all around the tin, creating an adorable picture of the many fine flowers and various butterflies. The symphony theme is painted on the metal in the same way as the other themes in the Hammershøi Summer series, where plants and flowers almost move spontaneously across the classic grooves on the white ceramic pieces. It is as if they almost sprout, almost dance across the surface with their various asymmetrical directions. The motifs are created by artist Rikke Jacobsen on the existing Hammershøi tableware designed by Hans-Christian Bauer.
