Cast iron retains and distributes heat evenly and effectively. Not suitable for acidic foods (such as tomato and fruit). Never use cast iron for long-term food storage. Not dishwasher-safe. Wash by hand with hot water even before first use. Ensure that the cast iron is fully dry before putting it away so that rust does not form.Maintenance instructions attached.
