The Hammershøi series from Kähler was created by designer Hans-Christian Bauer, who draws inspiration from the original works of Danish artist Svend Hammershøi, which Hammershøi created at Kähler's workshop back in the early 1900s. The iconic grooves create the classic and modern expression of the series in natural and glazed colours. Now the Hammershøi universe introduces a new color, as the mug are introduced in nude. The colour draws on references from Poppy and captures the essence of the poppy's colour, and makes it possible to create a poetic and personal table setting – both when the table is covered with Poppy and when the mug is used in combination with the classic, white Hammershøi tableware.
